Scales Farm Country Guest House


A warm & friendly welcome awaits you at our
beautifully renovated and sensitively modernised 17th
Century traditional Lakeland farmhouse. The
farm is set on the lower slopes of Blencathra,
on the A66, just 10 minutes by car from Keswick
and has wonderful open views to the south. All
bedrooms are of a high standard and are en-suite(three ground floor) and have tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and colour television. One ground floor bedroom is disabled friendly. Guest have their own separate entrance, which also gives access to the dining room and guest lounge with it's wood burning stove. We are a Non-smoking establishment. Dogs are welcome by
arrangement, but only in ground floor rooms.
An ideal location for exploring the lakes either by car bicycle or on foot, there being many interesting walks within easy reach.
