Abbots Thorn - A Country Bed and Breakfast


Set in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and central to so many places of interest, Leyburn, Askrigg, Aysgarth, Reeth and Hawes to name but a few, Abbots Thorn has a VisitBritain 4 star award, and is a 200 year old converted Dales farmhouse with south facing views over beautiful Coverdale. We have 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are en-suite the 3rd having sole use of the house bathroom, a guest lounge with original oak beams and wood burning stove for those chilly evenings, a comfortable dining room where you can chat to fellow guests while enjoying your full Yorkshire breakfast (or lighter option - menus are avialable the night before so you may make an informed choice!) special diets can be catered for given notice! An ideal spot for walking, touring, bird watching, fishing, golf or just relaxing! Pat is renowned for her evening meals using fresh, local produce wherever possible, we do not have a drinks licence so bring your own - there is not a charge to open them. A warm welcome awaits.
