Cardsmill Farm


Stay on a real family working farm here in the Marshwood Vale in West Dorset. Watch milking, see the calves and lambs in spring. Ask all the questions that you can!!!We grow grass, forage maize, wheat and stubble turnips for animal feed during the long summer when the animals are in the fields or in winter when they are warm and cosy in the barns and yards.Here in the farmhouse we have 4 ensuite rooms available, 1 with 3 beds for families, 2 with doubles and 1 with twin beds. All rooms have CTV, beverage trays, hairdryers, fan heaters as well as C/H, ensuite bath or shower rooms, shaver points, washbasins and toilets. On the landing is a fridge and microwave for guests to use. Downstairs a very large lounge/dining room that is available for guests. Breakfast is served daily, either full english or variations, as much as you can manage. The garden is always peaceful, quiet and relaxing with a cup of tea and a good book. There is lots of off road parking in the courtyard.
