We welcome guests to our home (non-smoking) in the quiet village of Broadwell just 1.5 miles from Stow-on-the-Wold and 3 miles from Moreton-in-Marsh. We are centrally situated for visiting all the Cotswold villages, while Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace, Oxford, Cirencester, Cheltenham and Gloucester are all within 20 - 30 miles. Comfortable accommodation comprises a double/twin and a twin-bedded room both en suite (with shower) on the first floor, and a double room with private bathroom (with bath and shower) on the ground floor. All are centrally heated and have coffee/tea making facilities, colour TV, radio, armchairs, hairdryer and, to add to your comfort, electric blankets for those colder nights and fans for the hotter summer days. Bedtime drinks and biscuits are provided. Enjoy a full English breakfast including fruit juice, cereals, grapefruit, yogurt and cheese, bacon, egg, sausage, tomato, fried bread or smoked haddock or scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, toast with a selection of marmalade, jams, honey and marmite; special diets can be provided if requested at the time of booking. There is a stair lift to the first floor (after a 3 step climb) but house/bedrooms are not suitable for wheel chairs. There is a pub in the village for evening meals (but do bring a torch for the return journey!) and there are many hotels and restaurants within 3 miles for evening meals. A car is essential, with parking in the grounds. We ask guests not to smoke in the house. Open March to October. Prices from £62 to £68 per room per night: weekly rate £420 to £441.
